DriverReady is YRSE’s road safety programme for students aged 14 to 17. Your teachers deliver one prepared lesson each week in their normal classroom, while YRSE provides the programme, online platform, accreditation and support behind it.

Your teachers know their students. Using the prepared lessons, they lead the discussions, activities and decision-making exercises in their normal classroom.

Getting started
We discuss your year group, approximate student numbers, preferred timing and any support your school needs.
Teachers complete the 20-minute online accreditation, covering the teaching approach, relevant road safety knowledge and classroom delivery.
Prepare a student class-list spreadsheet in the format we provide. Upload it using our guide, or ask YRSE to do this for you. Students then receive their access information.
With teachers accredited and students enrolled, you are ready to start. Open the prepared lesson and guidance in the platform, then deliver one core module each week for six weeks.
Frequently asked questions
Allow one 60-minute lesson each week for six weeks, including the seven-question quiz at the end of each module. The weekly structure gives students time to recall earlier learning, practise strategies and apply them to new situations.
Yes. After students complete all six core modules, your school can choose either or both additional modules: Regional and Rural and E-Mobility.
They follow the same lesson format and use the same delivery platform. Allow additional classroom time beyond the core six weeks.

DriverReady’s built-in evaluation covers reach, participation and completion, alongside findings from quizzes and pre- and post-programme surveys.
For funded delivery, reports can be prepared for schools and supporting partners. The scope, recipients and timing are agreed before delivery begins.
